ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
- Inspection of multiple finished goods.
- Complete various inspections using multiple measuring devices and report the data accordingly
- Communicate defects to engineers
- Perform layered audits of the production process
- Complete Continuous Improvement activities (kaizen) and report the results
- Implement Rework instructions as needed
- Input various data into Plex or check sheet as required
- Assist with repair of defective material, log defects
- Train new hire employees and temporaries as required
- Support document control
- Conduct problem solving activities
- Work safely within a production environment with fiberglass and chemicals
- Perform other duties as required (other projects or assignments requested)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to read and interpret work instruction documents
- Must be able to read material tags/labels
- Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Must be willing to work extended hours as needed to meet production requirements
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Some of the physical demands for this position include the ability to lift 50 pounds and being able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time in a manufacturing environment. Specific vision abilities required include viewing raw materials and parts for color matching and depth perception.
Including but not limited to compactor, measuring devices, computer software and PPE.
KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION
Minimum of high school diploma or GED required
TECHNICAL TRAINING: Metrology, Other quality control/assurance education
WORK EXPERIENCE
WHAT TYPES? Experience in automotive and / or manufacturing industries a plus
