POSITION SUMMARY
Performs various duties within the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, staging, loading, repackaging, putting away, ensure accurate inventory counts, and/or transporting products.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Percentage of time
10% Sort, load, unload and stage materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves; move materials and supplies using material handling equipment including but not limited to carts conveyer belts forklifts and pallet jacks; transfer pallets to designated areas by use of forklift, pallet jacks, or other motor vehicles
10% Check supplier's counts and reports discrepancies to carrier and supervisor
Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination, using hand-operated crane or hoist, or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination; clamps sections of portable conveyor together or places conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products; recharge forklifts
10% Read production labels, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions and determine items to be moved, gathered, repacked, disposed, and/or distributed.
10% Prepares & records items shipped or received via computer program including but not limited to SAP and Microsoft Excel
10% Gather and log inventory details including but not limited to label, description, receipt date, supplier, purchase order number, and lot number; verify items for shipment according to specifications and applicable transportation method; receive, inspect goods and verify items against the shipment record; record received products; ship items.
10% Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage and/or to other designated areas.
10% Verifies merchandise received against record of shipment, inspects and reports discrepancies and any obvious defects.
10% Completes daily inventory counts and researches discrepancies.
10% Complete forms for distribution including but not limited to Inventory Disposition and Substitution log.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Driver's License & clean driving record
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Three (3) months related experience
License/Certifications
  • N/A
Preferred Qualifications
  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience with utilizing ERP systems (SAP, Accuterm, ROSS, etc.)
  • Previous forklift and/or pallet jack experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA's)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate safe operation of power equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
  • Ability to work in temperature conditions between -35 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
