Job Summary

The Human Resources Representative supports day-to-day HR operations by providing employees, supervisors, and managers with information and services across established processes. This role plays a key part in the administration of HR programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and government requirements, while fostering a culture of engagement and inclusion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily HR activities to support business strategy and workforce needs.

  • Assist in implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support a high-performance culture.

  • Serve as liaison with temporary staffing agencies.

  • Provide support for benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and leave programs (FMLA/LOA).

  • Assist with employee relations, payroll accuracy, compensation cycles, and open enrollment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with EEOC, OSHA, Vets reporting, and other government regulations.

  • Organize employee engagement activities and promote inclusion initiatives.

  • Coordinate and/or support career fairs and special recruitment projects (campus, military, diversity, etc.).

  • Support managers with timekeeping and attendance programs.

  • Participate in safety program administration and HR special projects as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.

  • 0–2 years of progressive HR experience.

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track, interpret, and report HR data.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with workers' compensation claims and FMLA/LOA administration (strongly preferred).

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical, employee-focused solutions.

  • Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.

  • Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments.


Working Conditions

  • Onsite role based in Arden, NC.

  • Requires flexibility to support HR needs across both salaried and hourly/DC employees.
