We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide technical support to our manufacturing operations within the biotech/biomedical sector. The role involves resolving and reducing process deviations, developing and implementing corrective/preventative actions, and leading manufacturing and laboratory investigations.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific support for manufacturing areas within our Manufacturing Division.
- Develop working relationships with counterparts supporting aseptic manufacturing, testing, planning, and release.
- Utilize scientific and engineering principles to investigate process deviations.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of laboratory test failures and manufacturing atypical events.
- Develop corrective/preventative actions.
- Analyze complex problems through critical thinking and design/execute laboratory/pilot scale experiments.
- Off-shift work may be required.
Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. degree in an appropriate engineering/scientific field.
- 0-3 years post-Bachelor's degree experience in a cGMP environment (e.g., Production, Development, Process Engineering, Technical Services) in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Experience in writing investigations for atypical events in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma Methodologies and proven analytical/problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
