Core Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and laptop support, including application installation and OS installation/imaging.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting with a strong understanding of TCP/IPv4 network protocols.
- Utilize Microsoft/Windows experience to support users effectively.
- Physically able to lift and move up to 40 lbs for tasks such as racking and stacking servers and network equipment.
- Utilize help desk or ticketing systems, such as Service Now, to manage support requests.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, leveraging experience from retail or service industries.
- Configure printer IP addresses and install devices on PCs.
- Communicate effectively via email, Teams, and other platforms.
- Maintain organization and documentation for IT processes and procedures.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Experience with setting up servers.
- Proficiency in SQL database management.
- Basic understanding of firewall operations, specifically for creating support tickets.
- ITIL certification.
- Cisco networking experience.
- Relevant certifications in security, networking, or CSA.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience
- Experience with Aspen IP21.
- Experience with RS Linx.
