KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best quality and price.
- Procuring all necessary materials for projects, including parts, equipment, and supplies.
- Negotiating favorable terms, identifying cost-effective alternatives, and controlling expenses to maximize project profitability.
- Ensuring that purchase orders are accurate and comply with project specifications and contract terms.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting needs, and ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Updates Airtable with delivery dates, communicating delays.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager on the standardization of critical workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production schedules are met.
- Comply with company policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and purchasing standards.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge
- Support special projects, such as capital improvement projects.
- Actively participate in annual physical inventory
- Completes purchases to maintain critical kanban levels.
- Participate in Supply Chain continuous improvement activities.
- Measure the performance of critical workflow
- Knowledge of critical part numbers on more than 90% of commodities.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
