Quality Manager
Overview
The Quality Manager will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of quality assurance programs and training initiatives to ensure delivery of safe, reliable, and compliant products. This role partners closely with operations, suppliers, and customers, driving a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Champion a company-wide “quality mindset,” driving continuous improvement initiatives and embedding best practices into daily operations.

Oversee the Quality Management System to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.

Manage quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and work instructions.

Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.

Coordinate calibration, testing, and maintenance of inspection equipment.

Develop and monitor quality plans, inspection protocols, and process controls.

Conduct internal audits, customer complaint investigations, and product performance reviews.

Collaborate with purchasing to establish supplier quality requirements.

Manage RMA processes and track metrics such as defects, failures, and corrective actions.

Prepare and present KPIs and quality reports to leadership to support data-driven decision making.

Deliver training on quality principles and tools; support professional development across the workforce.

Partner with HR and leadership to assess training needs, design programs, and monitor compliance.

Promote and model workplace safety practices while aligning quality initiatives with company safety goals.

Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to foster collaboration and problem-solving.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field (Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering preferred).

7–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality leadership, ideally in automotive, plastics, or related industries.

Hands-on expertise with ISO 9001 QMS management; strong knowledge of PPAP and Lean methodologies.

ERP system proficiency; experience with implementing or optimizing quality/data modules is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach employees, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Skilled at managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

High level of integrity, adaptability, and customer focus.
