QC Laboratory Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20 – $23 DOE
Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, as well as aid in method development for in-house analytical testing.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience performing multiple methods accurately and precisely without direct supervision. Candidates must be proficient in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation, such as Atomic Absorption, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectroscopy (ICP). Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow laboratory SOPs, GLPs, and safety guidelines.

  • Perform routine chemical analyses of raw, in-process, and finished products using laboratory instrumentation.

  • Maintain detailed lab notebooks and clean work areas.

  • Participate in laboratory data reporting and creation of Certificates of Analysis (COA).

  • Prepare samples and paperwork for in-house and third-party testing.

  • Review test results for completeness and compliance with cGMPs.

  • Enter data into Process Pro Inventory Control System.

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on instruments.

  • Assist in calibration of laboratory and facility equipment.

  • Author SOPs and protocols; participate in documentation change control.

  • Maintain laboratory inventory of reagents and standards.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong background in chemical analyses and analytical instrumentation.

  • Ability to work independently and follow written procedures precisely.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

  • Understanding of cGMPs and GLPs.

  • Knowledge of Analytical Method Validation is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Normal dexterity for QC laboratory tasks, including pouring liquids, handling glassware, and working with chemicals.
