Full Job Description
We are looking for full-time Brake Press Machine Operators who want to grow their careers with a great company that offers amazing benefits. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machines to produce high-quality sheet metal parts and assemblies. Operators must be skilled in making necessary adjustments to meet production standards, use precision measurement tools, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform machine set-ups, operation, and maintenance of CNC Brake Press and Punch Press machines.

  • Load programs, make adjustments, and create custom programs for accurate bending and punching.

  • Operate equipment and use gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring devices to ensure product accuracy.

  • Use hand tools and measurement tape (to 1/16") effectively to meet production requirements.

  • Fabricate and assemble custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers.

  • Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to prepare materials and produce finished products.

  • Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting work and identifying defects.

  • Maintain equipment in good working condition; promptly report malfunctions or unsafe conditions.

  • Organize and keep the work area clean and safe while following all PPE and company safety guidelines.

  • Collaborate with team members and assist with project progress as directed by a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Production Manager.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a CNC Brake Press or Punch Press Operator (Amada, Accurpress, Safan, or similar).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurement tapes down to 1/16 of an inch.

  • Strong knowledge of machine programming, set-ups, and sheet metal fabrication processes.

  • Effective use of gauges, measuring devices, and hand tools.

  • High attention to detail with strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and safety.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and performing physical labor as needed.
