Summary
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Systems Onboarding Specialist to help new customers transition smoothly into our managed services environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive start for clients by overseeing migrations, providing technical support, and resolving issues efficiently. The Onboarding Specialist works closely with both clients and internal teams to deliver a secure, reliable, and seamless onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and carry out Microsoft 365 migrations, including email and SharePoint, while minimizing business disruption.

Provide basic Active Directory and Entra support, including user account setup and access management.

Troubleshoot networking issues related to DNS, SMTP, and essential protocols.

Support firewall and network configurations to ensure secure client environments.

Respond to client questions and resolve technical challenges during the onboarding process.

Partner with internal teams to align onboarding tasks with client expectations and requirements.

Record configurations, workflows, and client-specific needs for future reference.

Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and provide regular progress updates.
Qualifications

Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration and domain registrar management.

Familiarity with SharePoint and email migration processes.

Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra.

Basic understanding of firewall configurations and network security concepts.

Knowledge of DNS, SMTP, and other networking fundamentals.

Strong troubleshooting skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to non-technical users.

Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment preferred.

Experience with Azure or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a plus.
