Job Title: Structural Welder 2nd shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal structures and components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. The Structural Welder must be proficient in various welding techniques and processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, and ensure the integrity and safety of all welded structures.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

Weld structural components using various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-core).

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and frameworks.

Measure, cut, and fit materials using hand tools, torches, and fabrication machinery.

Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and quality.

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including use of PPE.

Work at heights or in confined spaces, as required by the job site.

Collaborate with engineers, foremen, and other tradespeople to complete projects.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in welding preferred.

Proven experience as a structural welder in a construction or industrial setting.

Certification from AWS (American Welding Society) or other relevant body preferred.

Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and codes.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in demanding conditions.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:

May work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Frequently exposed to loud noise, dust, and hazardous materials.

Must wear appropriate safety gear and comply with all safety regulations.
