We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow in the maintenance field. The successful candidate will assist with routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, and equipment upkeep. This is a hands-on role that offers valuable on-the-job training and the opportunity to build a long-term career in maintenance.
Job description:
- Perform routine machinery maintenance and install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
- Setup and start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
Requirements:
- 1 year maintenance experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
