The Build (Responsibilities)
· High level of attention to detail and focus is essential
· Must have the technical acumen to read and understand technical drawings
· Compiles information into databases or reports to confirm material availability, investigate material shortages, and improve data integrity
· Arranges for in-house transfer of materials within the facility with systems
· Pick material, parts and subassemblies based on order requirements
· Organize and kit materials and provide superior material presentation for the Assembly Operators
· Deliver materials, parts and subassemblies to manufacturing or assembly cell
· Replenish primary storage locations as need to ensure cell readiness for production
· Escalate and effectively communicate material, parts and subassembly shortages as needed to leadership
· Perform inventory related transactions within SAP to allocate materials
· Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed for respective duties
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
· High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
· 2 years’ work experience in a related position and environment is required
· Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) is required
· Previous warehousing and kitting experience in the power tools industry is preferred
· Previous experience working with SAP (or other ERP) software is preferred
· Previous experience operating a hand lift, fork lift or other PIV is preferred
· Ability to read and understand production orders to determine replenishment needs
· Must possess strong communication, organizational and time management skills
· Must be able to perform work under minimal supervision
· Ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs. as needed
