We have an immediate opening for a supervisory role in our industrial paint operations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in coatings operations within an industrial environment and three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience with industrial paint coatings.
  • Three (3) years' experience as a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 2 painters.
  • Schedule the paint booth time to meet equipment deliveries.
  • Request paint supplies as needed.
  • Maintain paint equipment.
  • Ensure a safe work environment.

Additional Skills (Bonus but Not Required)

  • Knowledge of moving heavy industrial equipment and supervising forklift operators.
  • Administration of safety program.
  • Administration of yearly inspections by third party.

Work Schedule

Hours: 40 48 Per Week (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday, Friday as needed)

Shift: 10 hour day shift

Weekly day range: Monday to Thursday, Friday as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and full body movement (e.g., climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching).
  • Manual dexterity and hand eye coordination are required to safely operate welding equipment and hand tools.
  • Visual acuity is necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and fabrication shop conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirator, face shields, gloves, steel toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
