Top required skills/experience:
1-5 years manufacturing experience with:
- Strong understanding and practical application of classical control theory, including PID control loop tuning and analysis
- Familiarity with advanced process controls technologies such as MPC, non-linear approaches, cascade control, and feed-forward control
- Programming experience in MATLAB/Simulink
- Controls-oriented modeling (system identification)
- Bachelors is a hard requirement. New grads with relatable internship experience will be considered.
PURPOSE
- ***'s MT&E division is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to support the development of new manufacturing processes and the optimization/improvement of existing processes to provide competitive advantage.
- This is an opportunity to have significant impact through increased process efficiency and/or plant profitability to the wide variety of processes and numerous plants in ***'s different businesses.
-The position will be focused on the design, development, and implementation of classical and advanced process controls solutions within dynamic manufacturing environments through ***'s global businesses.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical curiosity and a desire for project leadership opportunities.
- There will be a large emphasis on the application of controls theory, as well as strong interpersonal skills to function effectively within cross-functional and diverse project teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
