Industrial Engineer – Job Description

A manufacturing company specializing in utility room and digital imaging products for the dental industry is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support its production and engineering operations. This role collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Management teams to improve product quality and enhance operational efficiency across multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize production layouts and perform line balancing using lean manufacturing principles.

  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

  • Develop assembly methods for electro-mechanical products.

  • Analyze labor, material, and other production costs to support informed management decisions.

  • Collaborate with tooling departments to design and implement efficiency-enhancing tools, incorporating automation where feasible.

  • Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide quality improvements.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and failure analysis of production devices and components.

  • Serve as a liaison between Operations and other departments.

  • Participate in internal quality audits across the organization.

  • Manage various manufacturing-related projects.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kanban methodologies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Capable of working effectively across all organizational levels.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
