Functional/Technical Consultant – PeopleSoft Absence Management & Payroll

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead the implementation of PeopleSoft Absence Management 9.2, integrated with Payroll.

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions, ensuring long-term scalability.

• Design, configure, and support PeopleSoft HR, Payroll, and Absence modules, with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancements.

• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and drive defect resolution to keep systems running smoothly.

• Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and resource plans.

• Deliver end-user training and ongoing support to ensure adoption and success.

• Document processes, configurations, and issue resolutions for knowledge sharing and compliance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent technical experience).

• 5 years of PeopleSoft Functional/Technical consulting experience with Absence Management and Payroll.

• Expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, including Fluid UI.

• Strong SQL scripting skills and hands-on technical troubleshooting abilities.

• Proven ability to design solutions, lead implementations, and support production environments.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills able to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• State/Local Government project experience is highly preferred.
