Quality Assurance Engineer – Desktop Applications

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Desktop Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating desktop software applications on both Windows and Mac platforms, ensuring world-class quality and reliability.

You'll work closely with product, design, and development teams to refine and reimagine how cutting-edge desktop software is delivered. If you're motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about software testing, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of desktop software applications.

• Review design documents to ensure new features are testable and meet quality standards.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.

• Test new or updated features, identify defects, and ensure fixes meet requirements.

• Reproduce and validate customer-reported issues.

• Document validated fixes and contribute to release notes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional software testing experience.

• Proficiency with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac platforms.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with 3D/2D modeling or visualization software.

• Scripting ability in Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience in Architecture, Engineering, or related fields.

• Localization testing experience.
