Overview:
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of the supply chain operations. This includes sourcing raw materials, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and production material planning. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex bills of materials (BOMs), long-lead specialty components, and working with domestic and international suppliers. Both domestic and international travel may be required.

  • Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Lead and oversee procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse management, and inventory control.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics (KPIs), identify gaps, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including import/export laws and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with demand planning and sales teams to forecast and manage material requirements.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance working capital objectives with service level requirements.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems to manage supply chain operations and reporting.
  • Lead and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals.

Hayden Industrial has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act ( "The Unity Bill. ) effective August 29th, 2019.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or ISM CPSM preferred.
  • Experience working in the industrial equipment industry.

Supervisor Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
The Supply Chain Manager role requires occasional walking around the facility for supplier visits or inventory inspections. While the position primarily involves office work, it may involve occasional lifting of materials or documents up to 25-30 pounds. The role requires good vision for reviewing contracts and procurement documents, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in meetings. Physical stamina is needed for extended periods of sitting and walking.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Travel:
Travel is required for this position.
