Shift: 1 st and 3 rd
Brief job description:
As the maintenance technician will troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues. This includes pneumatics, hydraulics, using schematics and blueprints. You will perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general supervisions. You will execute work within established procedures and processes under both verbal and written instructions.
Job duties:
- Does routine preventive maintenance and ensures that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate effectively
- Diagnosing and maintaining mechanical systems, equipment and controls is essential
- Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
- Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as blow molds and presses
- Replaces faulty electronic components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices
- Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards
- Replaces electronic motor bearings and rewires motors
- Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts and assemble new equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Troubleshooting industrial controls, PLC, and drives
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Minimum of one to five years maintenance technician experience.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process, and quality system.
- Identify and record problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Some exposure with plastic Blow Molding and Injection Molding would be beneficial.
- Industrial maintenance background.
- High School or GED
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
