Industry Leader in the Capital Region is looking for an emerging HR professional to help lead its HR function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing employee relations, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and overseeing benefits. Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
· Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and compliance requirements.
· Work directly on the manufacturing floor to engage with employees, understand workforce needs, and support operational initiatives.
· Conduct training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and employee development programs.
· Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and policy enhancements.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and ensure organizational compliance.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 2 years HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
· Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, and HR policy development.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Hands-on, approachable, and comfortable engaging directly with employees at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to implement HR policies and procedures effectively.
Working Conditions:
· Primarily on-site in a manufacturing environment.
· Regular interaction with employees on the shop floor.
