Fleet Maintenance Coordinator
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime for parts inventories)
Location: Onsite (Fleet Shop – tractors/trailers environment)
Position Overview
The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator supports the Delivery Transportation Team and Fleet Manager by handling daily operational and administrative tasks within a fleet shop environment. This role is responsible for coordinating repairs, ordering and receiving parts, managing inventory, and providing frontline support to both technicians and vendors. The Coordinator ensures smooth fleet operations by monitoring calls and emails, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities

Greet visitors, answer calls, and route requests to appropriate parties.

Manage emergency road calls and coordinate repairs.

Order and receive parts from vendors; issue purchase orders and process receipts.

Maintain inventory control by updating records, shelving parts, and monitoring usage.

Track, process, and review invoices and expenses for accuracy.

Prepare reports and correspondence by gathering and summarizing fleet-related data.

Collaborate with fleet technicians and provide support for additional operational needs.

Support preventive maintenance scheduling and tracking.
