Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly/Test Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX (76114) on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling and testing products to meet customer quality standards and delivery schedules. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and test products using mechanical and electronic tools, hand/power tools, and test equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Perform lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, final detailing, and routine assignments with limited judgment.

Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.

Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.

Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet all product specifications and industry/customer standards.

Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials (e.g., paint, lacquer, glaze). Mix paint and clean parts as needed.

Actively participate in lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs by suggesting process improvements.

Observe all safety protocols and maintain a clean, FOD-free (Foreign Object Damage) work area.

Ensure all tools and equipment are calibrated per the calibration schedule.
