Dishwasher Associate
Position Overview:
We are looking for dependable and hardworking Dishwasher Associate for our client in Madison Heights, MI. This role combines food production support with dishwashing and cleaning responsibilities to help keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and measure ingredients for processing.
- Run ingredients through processing equipment (note: associates are not required to operate or monitor machinery).
- Combine ingredients according to production requirements.
- Package processed food into containers, apply labels, and prepare products for shipment.
- Box and tape finished products, then stack them onto pallets for the Warehouse Department.
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and containers using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, tools, and cookware are sanitized and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and food prep areas, including wiping surfaces, sweeping/mopping floors, and removing trash.
- Assist with general cleaning duties such as moving containers to the wash area, spot cleaning, and helping with deep cleaning as needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (accommodations may be available upon request if they do not create undue hardship on the company).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
- Work environment may become warm when fryers or ovens are in use.
- Pay rate: $15.00 per hour with a pay increase available upon permanent hire.
- Schedule:
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
