Position Summary
The Specialist plays a key role in supporting commercial loan operations through client support, quality review, and the timely processing of transactions. Under direct supervision, this role is primarily focused on executing processing and quality verification tasks following established procedures, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service. The Specialist is expected to contribute as a fully engaged team member in a high-performing work environment, while demonstrating initiative, resilience, and adaptability.
Essential Responsibilities

Execute loan servicing system input, transaction balancing, and related research with accuracy and timeliness.

Perform monetary processing, including Dollar Transaction Forms, Loan Initial Funding Requests, and outgoing wires.

Balance general ledger entries via Automated Posting Application (APA) and resolve discrepancies in coordination with Accounting.

Post DDA entries via APA to Hogan system, prepare cashier checks, and manage service requests.

Process requests via Quest, KeyView, and other systems including fee waivers, reapplication of payments, account information changes, and payment history statements.

Perform maintenance transactions in CLS such as borrowing base ticklers, advance paydown ticklers, and other indicative system changes.

Conduct quality reviews, escalate issues as needed, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and SLAs.

Research and resolve client inquiries and service requests; communicate outcomes effectively.

Participate in quarterly operational testing and assist with reporting as required.

Support teammates by sharing workload to ensure deadlines are met.

Provide world-class customer service to both internal and external clients.
Qualifications & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with loan servicing systems (APA, Hogan, CLS, KeyView) preferred.

Prior experience in retail banking, small business banking, consumer lending, or loan operations is a plus.
