Plastic Injection Mold Press Operator

Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Job Summary:
Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Plastic Injection Mold Press Operator for a great opportunity in Clinton Township. This role is responsible for operating molding equipment, ensuring part quality, and performing post-mold and secondary operations in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate plastic injection molding machinery safely and efficiently.

Remove and inspect molded parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.

Follow operator instructions and training procedures precisely.

Trim, assemble, or perform secondary operations on molded parts as required.

Install preloads or components needed for the molding process.

Accurately package parts according to job specifications and count requirements.

Record production data, including scrap and job details, on tally sheets.

Use a computer to track time and job assignments.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Report any part deviations from approved samples.

Comply with all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).

Maintain awareness of customer and regulatory requirements, especially for medical clients (e.g., ISO13485 standards).
Qualifications:

Previous experience with plastic injection molding preferred.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Comfortable using basic computer systems for time and job tracking.
