Job Description: Quality Control ISO 9000 Contractor
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Contractor with expertise in ISO 9000 standards to support our quality management initiatives. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, conducting audits, monitoring processes, and driving continuous improvement efforts to maintain certification and enhance product/service quality.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with ISO 9000/9001 standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.

Review and monitor production/operational processes to identify risks, inefficiencies, or non-conformances.

Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives and follow up on their effectiveness.

Support management during external audits and certification/recertification processes.

Provide training and guidance to staff on ISO requirements and quality best practices.

Analyze quality data and prepare reports for leadership.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
Qualifications

Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, with specific ISO 9000/9001 expertise.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and audit practices.

Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (preferred but not required).

Background in manufacturing, engineering, or similar regulated industries.

Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as a contractor/consultant.
