Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our dispatching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting, routing and dispatching materials and parts to ensure production schedules and commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any material-related issues
• Review master production schedule to identify potential and actual material shortages
• Alert proper authorities of potential problems and take proactive measures to mitigate delays
• Provide progress reports on assigned programs or areas through maintaining accurate records of orders
• Expedite parts to different areas of the facility to maintain processes
• Report on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material movements, inventory levels, and production schedules. Be able to speak and present on items.
• Be open-minded and receptive to new ideas and perspectives, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and procedures
• Continuously seek ways to improve the material dispatch process, including suggesting innovative solutions and participating in process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role or related role
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, including *** Proprietary Information (LMPI)
• Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, including:
o Willingness to assist and support colleagues as needed
o Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders
o Commitment to achieving team goals and objectives
o Open communication and transparency in all interactions

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a related industry (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, restaurant, etc.)
• Certification in material management or a related field
• Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:
The expeditor manufacturing dispatcher will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with production teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient material delivery. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:
Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM-2:00 AM EST with OT available on the weekends.
