Yard Truck Driver- 3rd Shift

Pay: $17.00/hour | Bi-Weekly Pay | Overtime Available

Nesco Resource is now hiring a Yard Truck Driver for a respected precast concrete construction company in Greenville, SC. This role is critical to keeping yard operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment—this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attach and detach trailers from switcher cab safely and efficiently

• Conduct routine trailer inspections and report maintenance needs

• Operate yard truck and spotter vehicles as needed

• Climb on and around concrete structures as required for loading and inspection

• Maintain truck safety through daily pre-operation inspections

• Check tire pressure, fluid levels, and sanitize/clean truck daily

• Prep trailers for loading, including proper dunnage and timber placement

• Keep the trailer storage area clean and organized

• Follow all safety protocols and participate in company safety programs

Required Characteristics & Skills:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Comfortable working in elevated areas and outdoor conditions

• Understanding of crane hand signals and spotting procedures

• Familiarity with 5th wheel operation and maintenance

• Commitment to completing daily pre-op checklists and documentation

• Strong attention to safety and operational detail
