Education Required: High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications
- 1 to 1 1/2 years of experience in past positions
- Small electronic assembly experience
- Recent graduate from tech school or high school
- Proficient in computer usage
- Technical knowledge
Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
- Identify parts for replacement and machines that need new parts; place orders as necessary.
Additional Requirements
- May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
- 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
