Position Summary

The Benefits Administrator supports the accurate, compliant, and efficient administration of employee benefit programs, including healthcare, retirement, and wellness plans. This role ensures seamless day-to-day operations, delivers exceptional employee support, and partners with vendors to maintain a high-quality benefits experience.


Key Responsibilities

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Pharmacy, Section 125 plans, Qualified Life Events, and retirement plans.

  • Provide timely support and guidance to employees and managers regarding benefits inquiries and policies.

  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations for new hires, leaves of absence, and other qualifying events.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain benefit-related workflows, update systems, and ensure accurate plan documentation.

  • Monitor industry trends and recommend program enhancements to improve employee experience.

  • Conduct audits, reconcile invoices, and ensure accurate vendor payments.

Annual Enrollment & Special Projects

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing annual open enrollment, including communications, system readiness, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.

  • Support integration projects and special initiatives to increase operational efficiency.

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Manage relationships with benefit providers, brokers, and consultants for day-to-day operations.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Payroll, Legal, HR) to resolve employee benefit issues.

  • Participate in vendor meetings, planning sessions, and problem-resolution discussions.


Qualifications

  • Experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of benefit programs, compliance requirements, and vendor management.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with HRIS, benefits platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
