Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury resort environment? We’re seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of a premier resort and spa nestled in the breathtaking red rocks of Sedona.
This is an on-site leadership role for a hands-on, strategic, and service-driven General Manager who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The position is responsible for the overall success of resort operations—including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Activities, Retail, Maintenance, and Landscaping—while maintaining financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement.
What You’ll Do

Lead day-to-day operations across all departments with a focus on delivering Forbes five-star service.

Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies that align with resort goals and enhance the guest experience.

Oversee accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning; monitor costs, labor, and inventory to drive profitability.

Ensure all resort systems, policies, and procedures are functioning efficiently and in compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.

Inspire department heads to foster a high-performance culture centered on service excellence, teamwork, and accountability.

Resolve guest issues with empathy and professionalism; serve as an ambassador of the brand’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term development, special projects, HOA relationships, and operational planning.

Actively participate in property tours, VIP hosting, sales efforts, and community partnerships to promote the resort.

Monitor and elevate the property’s appearance and functionality through regular walk-throughs and inspections.

Coordinate with HR to drive team engagement, talent development, and staffing optimization.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (Resort Manager, Director of Operations, or General Manager) within a luxury resort setting (4 or 5 Star Experience Required).

Expertise in: Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Retail, Guest Activities, Maintenance, and Grounds.

Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.

Experience managing to Forbes service standards strongly preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

A natural leader with the ability to engage, inspire, and develop a diverse team.

Proficiency with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced PMS experience preferred.

U.S. work authorization required.

Experience with resort openings or renovation projects is a plus.
