Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager I leads medium- to large-scale projects of moderate to high complexity from concept through completion. Serving as the single point of accountability, this role ensures all projects meet defined objectives by applying Parallon Project Controls and Standards, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and proactively addressing risks and issues. Moderate travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities

Organize project activities into manageable work efforts; define and implement effective approaches per project plan.

Develop and present key documents, including Project Charters, communication plans, and detailed project plans.

Manage project scope, motivate team members, and maintain stakeholder alignment.

Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; drive timely resolutions.

Monitor project performance, prepare high-quality deliverables, and report progress within set timelines.

Facilitate creation of toolkits to support field-based implementations.

Coach team members on task assignments, milestones, and deliverables.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years' project management experience, preferably in healthcare.

Background in healthcare systems, supply chain, workforce management, financial services, or technical/systems projects is a plus.

Experience with HCA Healthcare, HealthTrust, or Parallon preferred.
Certifications

PMP preferred (not required).

LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification(s) a plus.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Primarily office-based; prolonged sitting with occasional bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 25 lbs).
