Shipping Clerk – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outbound shipments, verify orders, and maintain accurate shipping records. This role requires precision, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and process shipping documents, labels, and bills of lading

Verify and pack outgoing orders according to specifications

Schedule pickups with carriers and coordinate shipment timelines

Inspect packages for accuracy, quality, and damage before shipping

Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to move materials

Maintain accurate shipping logs and records in the company system

Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications:

Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics preferred

Basic computer skills for data entry and label printing

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders

Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is a plus
