About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Punch Press Operator to set up and operate our TruPunch 5000 machine. You'll be responsible for assembling and installing tooling, setting workpiece clamps, and performing first-piece inspections to ensure the highest quality standards. Once approved, you'll run production, maintain documentation, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
This role works an 8–10 hour shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Safety: Follow all safety policies, use required PPE, and report hazards.

Quality: Perform in-process inspections, identify non-conforming materials, and maintain quality standards.

Productivity: Meet efficiency targets, follow production schedules, and address process issues promptly.

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Maintain tooling, including sharpening and logging worn/broken parts.

Perform cleaning and basic machine maintenance.

Collaborate in a team-based environment, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of CNC punch press setup experience.

Strong sheet metal working background.

Ability to read, write, and understand technical instructions and engineering drawings.

Basic math and computer skills.

Must pass pre employment screening

Able to lift up to 42 lbs.
