SUMMARY
The Service Tech supports the Installed Products Division by preparing fireplaces for final delivery to the customer and by repairing existing fireplaces to please the customers. The Service Tech also services and repair all the other products sold.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday,  7:30-4:30 or 8:00-5:00.  Every other Saturday,  10:00-2:00.  The weeks they work Saturdays, they get a half day off through the week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • 0-1 years of experience in construction industry
  • Experience with basic hand tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid time management and prioritization skills
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Detail and service oriented
  • Good Driving Record
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
Product Inspection and Repair
  1. The Service Tech will do a through inspection of the product to troubleshoot any problem. that may have arisen.
  1. The Service will replace any parts needed to repair the products.
  1. The Service Tech will read and understand any installation instructions presented to them.
Inventory Control
  1. The Service Tech will always maintain a tool inventory and a company inventory on the truck.
  1. The Service Tech will account for all materials used for jobs.
Tool Care and Maintenance
  1. Service Tech will account for all tools after every job.
  1. Any tools that need repair will be reported to the manager.
Reports and Records
  1. The service tech is responsible for detailing repairs in their paperwork.
  1. Truck DOT form will be filled out and turned in daily.
  1. Assigned pictures will be taken on every job and sent after the job is done.
  1. Collect payments on completed jobs.
General
  1. Attend any meeting requested by management.
  1. Stay caught up on any assigned training.
  1. Keep trucks clean and organized daily.
  1. Report and vehicle Maintenance needed.
  1. Ensure all customers are left with a safe product for use.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction
  1. Make the customer is satisfied.
  1. Make sure the customer has a detailed explanation of repairs.
  1. Stay of schedule or make customer aware of delays.
