Job Overview:
Our local Stratford client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join their dedicated team. This position offers opportunities on both the 1st and 2nd shifts, with mandatory overtime, perfect for those looking to earn extra income during the holidays.
Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret job tickets and special instructions to ensure proper execution of tasks.
- Perform thorough quality control (QC) inspections on each job, following department guidelines.
- Use a scanner and computer to check jobs into the proprietary COS software via the QC Check-In tool.
- Operate equipment to produce simple products efficiently.
- Set up and feed materials into machines, monitoring control points to maintain workflow.
- Identify and resolve minor machine errors while preventing jams to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall manufacturing goals.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Basic math and reading skills are required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
