Job Title: Legal Administrative & Event Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Legal Administrative & Event Coordinator is responsible for coordinating conferences, meetings, interviews, and special events. This role involves managing logistics such as room reservations, catering, materials, audio/visual setups, computer configurations, and security arrangements. The coordinator will also ensure seamless event execution and provide exceptional customer service through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate events, including meetings, interviews, and conferences.

  • Arrange logistics such as rooms, catering, materials, A/V setups, computer systems, and visitor security.

  • Monitor events to ensure smooth operations and adherence to plans.

  • Provide customer service by phone, email, and in person.

  • Screen and forward calls, emails, and mail to appropriate staff.

  • Distribute communications including event invitations, newsletters, surveys, and program announcements to stakeholders and attendees.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or a degree from an accredited institution preferred.

  • General knowledge of legal concepts and strong familiarity with legal terminology.

  • 2–3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong client relations abilities.

  • Proficiency with document processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, graphics, and collaboration platforms.

  • Experience with case tracking, project tracking, and legal research databases preferred.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize under pressure, and maintain mental flexibility.

  • Physical requirements include prolonged sitting and manual dexterity.
