CNC Supervisor – Mentor, OH
Pay: $28–$36/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Starts on 1st shift; will transition to a swing shift covering 2nd & 3rd shifts.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Supervisor to join our manufacturing leadership team in Mentor. This role is responsible for overseeing CNC operations, leading and mentoring machinists, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining high-quality standards. You'll begin on 1st shift for training and onboarding, then transition to a swing shift schedule to oversee both 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise CNC machinists and production activities across multiple shifts.
- Oversee machine setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Monitor workflow, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain schedules.
- Uphold safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with management on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the team to meet KPI goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Supervisor or Lead Machinist.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and machining processes.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours to cover multiple shifts.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
