Job Summary
The Production
Operator is responsible for accurately weighing, mixing
and running the Automated Packaging Line (APL) per the Work Instructions while
abiding by all safety and environmental procedures established by ***
Corporation.
Essential Functions
Operates small press machine, checking all controls for adherence
to operating/safety procedures and ISO standards.
Operates the Automated Packaging Line (APL)
Ensure containers are accurately labeled, counted, palletized and
transferred to designated holding area with pallet jack.
Follows recipe to accurately weighs up materials using walkie lift
Mixing material in small vessels
Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance
with established standards.
Refers issues/problems to Production Lead or Production/Shift
Supervisor for disposition.
Performs all required machine cleaning.
Completes and maintains all required system inputs/transactions.
Responsible for data integrity.
Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports,
procedures, etc into computer system (SAP).
Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement
processes and methods.
Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and
regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.

Qualifications -
External
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years proven experience in an industrial operations
environment required.
Experience in mixing, weigh-up or assembly line
1 year Fork Lift experience Required

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs. The employee is regularly
required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands
and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee
is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities may require close vision, color vision, depth
perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals,
and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment
ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.
