Nesco Resource is actively seeking an experienced Composites Shop Supervisor to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. This role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of composite manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the composites manufacturing team to meet daily production goals.

Actively assist in the manufacturing process of composite components.

Implement and monitor quality control systems to maintain top-tier standards.

Analyze and improve workflows for increased efficiency and cost reduction.

Manage personnel, equipment, and material allocation effectively.

Monitor inventory levels to support continuous production.

Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a hazard-free work environment.

Oversee maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment.

Support team development through training, coaching, and performance reviews.

Facilitate effective communication across departments and management.

Coordinate project execution, timelines, and resource allocation.

Manage and monitor shop budgets and control operational expenses.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 5–10 years of hands-on experience in the composites industry (automotive or motorsport preferred).

Strong leadership background in composite manufacturing, including expertise in infusion, RTM, and/or prepreg processes.

Solid knowledge of quality standards; experience with IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 preferred.

Proven ability in resource planning and budget management.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Deep understanding of manufacturing safety protocols, including chemical handling.
Pay: $60,000-$70,000 anually DOE
Shift: 1st shift
