Product Support Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment Dealership

Location: Central Omaha
Compensation: Base commission | Company truck provided
Schedule: Full-time | Some after-hours support as needed

Are you a people-first problem solver with a passion for heavy equipment? We're looking for a Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) to serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring their machines keep working hard—day in and day out.

As the go-to support partner for your assigned territory, you’ll work closely with the District Sales Manager and our service team to drive growth through parts and service sales, machine inspections, and proactive customer support. If you're known for follow-through, hustle, and making customers feel taken care of—you’ll thrive in this role.


What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers in your assigned territory.

  • Increase revenue through the sale of parts, service repairs, undercarriage work, consumables, and commodities.

  • Prepare and present accurate quotes and repair estimates to customers.

  • Conduct routine machine walkarounds and 50-point inspections, identifying service opportunities and preventive care needs.

  • Become a fleet expert—understand what your customers own, how they operate, and where you can help reduce downtime.

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers on equipment service, maintenance scheduling, and emergency repairs.

  • Champion Komatsu parts and service initiatives and promote current programs and offers.

  • Maintain detailed customer records in CRM, including machine data, service history, contacts, and visit notes.

  • Partner with internal sales reps and service departments to create a unified support team for your accounts.

  • Educate customers on product support technologies and assist with implementation.

  • Prioritize urgent service needs and help customers make informed decisions—balancing downtime, cost, and scheduling.

  • Represent the company professionally at trade events, customer meetings, and industry functions.


What You Bring

  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role; CRM experience required

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude with confidence in machine inspections, undercarriage evaluation, and quoting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • A driven, self-motivated mindset with a commitment to follow-through

  • Familiarity with heavy equipment parts and service sales preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Working Conditions

  • Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs, climb on equipment, and work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Travel as needed for customer visits, events, and occasional training
