Parts Manager – Heavy Equipment Dealership

Are you a proven leader with a passion for the heavy equipment industry? We're looking for a Parts Manager to drive our Parts Department to new heights! You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service—both internal and external—while maximizing sales, streamlining inventory, and mentoring a high-performing team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Parts Department to meet and exceed key performance goals in sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with the Parts & Product Support GM to uncover new growth opportunities and drive departmental strategy.

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly parts sales to ensure we’re hitting financial targets.

  • Launch and manage year-round promotions in sync with Sales and Service campaigns.

  • Champion the use of OEM/manufacturer programs to increase customer value and drive sales.

  • Oversee a clean, accurate, and efficient inventory control system, focusing on high service fill rates and strong inventory turnover.

  • Take full advantage of available discount programs and ensure timely submission of all warranty and return claims for full credit.

  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency, always aiming to turn challenges into long-term loyalty.

  • Support proactive customer follow-ups and upselling through strong lead and communication practices.

  • Lead and execute annual and/or cycle physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability.

  • Maintain department equipment, tools, and vehicles in top condition.

  • Work hands-on—indoors and out—with a team-first mindset. Close-toed shoes required!

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a heavy equipment dealership parts and service environment (Komatsu or Takeuchi experience a big plus!)

  • Proven leadership and team development skills

  • Solid background in parts inventory and warehouse management

  • Strong sales drive and customer service mindset

  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking abilities

  • Tech-savvy with a mechanical mindset
