Nesco Resource is seeking Quality Technicians for one of our long-term clients in Auburn Hills. This is a 3rd shift position from 11 PM- 7 AM. Must have experience.
The Quality Technician will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, dispositioning, and resolving non-conforming material issues. Perform testing, gather data, and analyze results of product testing and process monitoring. Use statistical tools to analyze data and identify and recommend corrective actions as necessary to improve process capability. Participate in continuous improvement projects. Use documentation systems to research information and generate change requests by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials according to company policies.
Coordinate and report lab and sorting activities.
Maintain and report inspection results.
Conduct component inspections for incoming material and modify work instructions when needed.
Issue Corrective Action Requests for non-conforming material to component suppliers.
Conduct problem-solving activities.
Conduct and report calibration of site equipment, gages, masters, and instruments as required.
Support coordination of GR&R activities and reports, and prepare and submit capability data reports.
Conduct and report various testing activities.
Review, report, or repair scrap generated from suppliers or value streams.
Operate CMM and use of gages and other measuring devices.
Support training activities.
Support and conduct auditing activities
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Serve on teams or committees as needed.
