Pipe Assembler – Utility & Screw Pipe
Location: Catoosa, OK
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10-hour day shifts (40–50 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Assembler with expertise in both utility and screw pipe assembly. This hands-on role involves cutting, threading, and bending various pipe sizes in a fabrication shop environment. Ideal candidates will have a solid mechanical background and the ability to work independently from technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut and thread pipes from ½” to 3” (Schedule 80 to Schedule 160).
- Bend tubing from 1” to 2” with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, piping schematics, and job specifications.
- Operate power and hand tools to complete fabrication tasks.
- Maintain clean and safe workstations in accordance with company safety policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial pipe assembly or fabrication.
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in pipe threading, tubing bending, and hand tool operation.
- Must have reliable transportation (relocation assistance not provided).
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, bend, and remain on feet for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crouching.
- Use hands with precision and visual accuracy for fine mechanical work.
- Tolerate noise, temperature fluctuations, and shop environment.
- Wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and welding hood.
