Nesco Resource is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor located in Watertown, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: 7AM-5PM Weekdays (OT Available)
Pay: $28-$35/Hour Depending on Experience
Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality assurance processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves managing inspection teams, developing quality procedures, and collaborating with production and engineering departments to maintain product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
- Lead and supervise quality control inspectors and technicians.
- Monitor product quality through inspections and testing; ensure compliance with specifications.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including ISO or industry-specific standards.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Train staff on quality standards and best practices.
- 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, with leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and tools (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, SPC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to inspect parts to assure quality of parts being run meet standards.
