Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the daily operation and upkeep of equipment throughout the Distribution Center. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and improvements to ensure optimal and safe functionality of systems such as conveyor equipment, powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, order pickers), dock doors, and racking systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and scheduled maintenance on equipment as needed.

Test and observe repaired equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about work status, repair needs, and project updates.

Maintain accurate documentation of work completed.

Assist with installation of new equipment or infrastructure changes within the facility.

Follow all safety procedures and regulations; maintain a clean and organized work area.

Support other Distribution Center tasks or departments when needed.
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience with equipment repair and maintenance in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution setting.

Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

Ability to interpret schematics and ladder logic.

Working knowledge of conveyor systems and belts.

Experience with electrical troubleshooting.

Familiarity with operating various warehouse equipment (e.g., box erectors, tape machines, material handling tools).

Ability to use technology and diagnostic tools (e.g., scanners, computer systems) effectively.

Capable of following written and verbal instructions in English.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
