The Regional Recruiter - Canada will be managing recruiting key performance indicators in assigned territory, develop and implement regional recruiting strategies and create an inventory of quality Assistant General Agents and Field Agents candidates. In addition, this role will partner with members of the Field Management team, General Agents and Assistant General Agents in assigned territory to attain annual recruiting goals.
Core Responsibilities
Assist in identifying development recruiting strategies that attract quality candidates to the Field Agent role. Quality candidates must meet published recruiting standards, obtain a life and health license and become an Investment Adviser Representative by passing NASAA Series 65 exam within 6 months.
Partners with General Agents in the development of annual Agency Recruiting Business Plans. These plans will identify the annual agency recruiting goal, open territories, the assigned Assistant General Agent to the territory and the Councils.
The Regional Recruiter will report to the VP of Agent recruiting and growth.
The Regional Recruiter is also responsible for achieving/exceeding Assistant General Agent of Field Agent recruiting objectives. This individual must have an excellent understanding of the insurance, financial planning and mutual fund industries.
Skills Qualifications
Ability to speak and write in french
Must possess leadership skills, be a strategic thinker and have the ability to recruit and coach sales personnel.
Good working knowledge of all insurance products.
Ability to drive recruiting results and exceed annual goal; will need an understanding of the competition's field agent contracts.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with field associates.
Solid understanding of insurance compliance.
Enthusiastic team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize work in a fast-paced sales environment.

Education
Required:
BS or BA Degree
3 years of recruiting in the financial services industry
Bilingual french speaker
