Senior Windows Systems Administrator
Nesco Resource has been engaged by a long-standing partner to identify an experienced Senior Windows Systems Administrator supporting a well-established organization's IT infrastructure. This role is focused on managing Windows server environments and SAN/NAS storage systems, with a strong emphasis on system reliability, data protection, and performance optimization.
- Manage core infrastructure components including domain controllers, file servers, remote server access, antivirus systems, and Windows group policy.
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows servers and SAN/NAS storage environments.
- Install, configure, and support Windows-based business applications, serving as administrator for assigned systems.
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies; ensure execution of daily backups and support disaster recovery processes.
- Engage with hardware and software vendors to evaluate new technologies and maintain infrastructure performance.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to identify areas for system improvement and participate in project planning and execution.
- Proactively troubleshoot system issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide direct end-user support as needed and respond to Help Desk escalations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
