Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/hr
Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: 1st Shift with OT as needed
We're seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Specialist to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. This role involves inspections, data analysis, and continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect products throughout the production process

Use precision tools (e.g., micrometers, Calypso, tape measure to 1/16 ")

Perform inspections independently under pressure

Analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities

Calibrate and maintain testing/measuring equipment records

Maintain accurate, organized, and legible paperwork

Create and manage quality documentation per ISO 9001 standards

Understand and document quality records properly

Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Support continuous improvement across QA processes

Halt production if critical defects or risks arise
Qualifications:

QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Familiarity with inspection tools and ISO 9001 standards

Ability to read measuring tape to 1/16 " and use precision instruments

Strong communication and documentation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office
